Meighan Forrer is making a name for herself within the Building Energy Management space. Flywheel is excited to have her on the team.
As the Associate Director of sales at Flywheel, Meighan is focused on developing and delivering Flywheel’s unique business platform elevating facility performance and value. Her commitment to the industry has shown during her two years with Flywheel. In her current position she is focused on driving growth and results by identifying portfolio inefficiencies and providing a customized program to enable owners to take action toward optimization. Prior to her current role, she was a program manager responsible for the development and execution of efficiency programs for client portfolios.
Meighan exemplifies the innovative thinking and drive of a future leader through not only her education and experience gained in the past six years, but her strong involvement in industry organizations and events. She is an active member of Dallas 2030 District, The Real Estate Council, Urban Land Institute, United States Green Building Council, and United Way of Metropolitan Dallas.
However, Meighan doesn’t stop at membership. Her passion shines through as she engages in initiatives, on committees and shares her knowledge of the efficiency and sustainability market through various speaking engagements. Also, she has been recognized for her work and achievements by the local North Texas Chapter of CoreNet Global. She recently celebrated the honor of being part of the first nominated class for the CoreNet Global Young Leader of the Year in Corporate Real Estate award in 2016.
With a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies and Political Science from the University of Vermont, Meighan Forrer is not slowing down anytime soon. While she is committed to the advancement of the building energy management space, in her free time she likes to travel, listen to live music, and collect wine.
